Hey Now!,
This just in. Apparently, Spring Council isn't starting until June 1st
and these directions are to the rendezvous location, not the spring
council site. When step two of this plans in unveiled, I'll pass it on.

If you are planning on coming, please do not overload the local
community. The first family home will create good or bad impressions
on the local community - please be on your peace-loving best.
If you see folks hitch hiking, please pick them up and take them
on the rendezvous and/or Spring Council. Please treat the locals
as you want to be treated in your own home when guests come over.

Just a quick reminder about Spring Council. Sometimes it happens 20
miles from one of the better potential site locations, sometimes it's
200 miles.

Spring council will (hopefully) reach a consensus on which of the
available sites will best suite the family as a whole. Generally
it takes two days to a week for Spring Council to reach consensus
on the gathering site.

If you're flying in, plan on an airport in the general area.
The east coast has short distances, so within 200 miles of the
Spring Council Rendezvous site, I see Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
Washington, DC. as the two major airports. But don't take my
word for it, look it up on the map.

On another note I think we were all expecting something this weekend,
but note these directions start the 1st and no one will be present till
late Saturday. The directions are not the site for council but a meeting
point for more info. The scouts were not ready to give more info till
the 1st. Regardless of what was posted about council weekend, my memory
at Acorn for Thanksgiving council was we TRIED to get consciousness for
Memorial day but it never happened (nor was it blocked, we just ran out
of time).

----------------------
>From Elkins WV. Take 33/55 east for about 4 miles. Take a left onto old
Route 33 and go 1.9 miles through 2 big stone pillars. You are now
entering Monongahela National Forest. Make the 1st left towards Stuart
and Bickle Knob on forest road 6. Go approximately 7.8 miles and cross a
bridge over creek. There will be a camping area immediately on left
before crossing bridge over Shavers River with info on additional
camping. This location is not the site or the council area, just a
meeting area with more information. The scouts do not expect to start
counseling until the 1st and will not be present until the evening of
the 28th (Saturday) at the earliest.

Please respect the scene and the town who are our gracious and unknowing
hosts. Please no panhandling in town.

Funding the Rainbow Guide is a continuous, ongoing process. I am sure we
can all sympathize with putting together a project that costs thousands
of dollars for a group that never charges for anything. Historically,
the Guide has come up short on printing and shipping costs and has left
the Focalizers, that have already donated a tremendous amount of time
and effort, "holding the bag" or Guides left sitting unshipped. Please
Family, make supporting the Rainbow Guide a priority, as we desire to
create a publication and website of which we can be proud. The funds
that we generate set the range for the resources that we can use. Give
early, as the time we spend trying to find financing takes away from
creative efforts we could use for making the Guide.

The Rainbow Guide is freely distributed, but not freely printed.
Donations of $5.00 will help create a beautiful Rainbow Guide for our
family. All contributions are confidential and will be used in a
respectful manner.

Funds needed to print 2005 Rainbow Guide: $118 To make donations to the
Rainbow Guide as simple as possible,
we now accept contributions through PayPal -- for those of you able to
make electronic payments.

Or, if you would rather, send your donations to:

Sometimes things change so check with any contact information that may
be provided prior to traveling to any listed events. Just because a
gathering happened the year prior does not mean that it will happen
again the following year. Energies and focalizers change as do counsel
circle decisions to facilitate such sacred events. Rainbow Magic happens
with respect and hard work, do lend your support and kind energies to
the circle. Participation is the key!
