A Message from EarthmotherCarla

Heya! Well, we are all down at the River... the Niangua River, that 
is, waiting for the music to kick back up for the 6th Annual CommUnity 
Peace Festival!

And a Prosperous Summer Solstice to you all!

Wanda is still down at the River, waiting with her fellow festival 
friends for all of you to show up! But she wanted me to tell you that 
we have lots more music to come! So far, we have heard kick-ass 
grooves from so many! C3, Ben Miller- who is coming back this week-
end!- the Johnny Philco Band, Ryan and Friend from Dr. Z's Experiment, 
Medicine Crow and Ghetto Gas John & THEIR friends, Gabby, a surprise 
guest from the Road, Alexander- as ever a pleasure!- And Juliette, 
with her first stage performance- which made us all stop doing what we 
were doing and PAY ATTENTION! SOME OF US had to play in the rain 
Saturday night... Like Holy Frog and Herb & the Herbs. BUT WE DID IT 
and bless those SWEET, lovin' hippies, they were right there with us!

Now, Reggie took the stage for the open mic, as did our own Mama 
Mountain and Caitlin, along with Jess, who did better than she thought 
she could!

Oh, I know I am leaving someone out but I keep getting side tracked in 
my head by the list of the musicians to come! Lookingheart assures me 
I am gonna be blown away by Schedule C, and that there are some 
surprise musicians who will get the Solstice celebration hopping and 
then some! I am gonna have Psychedelic FoxFire lighting up the drum 
circle... when I'm not drumming, that is! I think the DigiTipi might 
even be there before the week-end is over!

And who knows what jammin' we will all do?

Too much fun, too much fun, too much fun! But we are gonna be there
