Spring Council (Annual Rainbow Gathering)

Spring Council (not Scout Council) to start June 11
at the Cartney Access site in Arkansas.

This is a site that was suggested by the FS and some of the MO family
however the scouts feel this site will not work for a gathering, but will be a
great spot for council. REPEAT THIS IS NOT THE GATHERING SITE! Only Council.

The scouts are still scouting and have other places they are looking
at, but would like people to come together to share sites and start
narrowing things down. If you have site you want to share now is the
time to show up. Council week will be a week of sharing sites and
looking at sites together.

Directions are:
The site is called Cartney Access and is near Buffalo City Arkansas (114) It
is along the Buffalo / White River from Cartney Access to Buffalo City.

 From Mountain Home Arkansas take 201 south 11 miles,turn right on
341 (Push Mountain road) and cross over Sheids bridge.
Go 7 miles until Cartney White river access sign and Cartney store,  
turn right.
Drive until you cross a small creek and at 2 miles on the left, trail
head. Parking for this area is down the road 1/2 mile..

If there is any confusion follow the road to main White river channel.

Cell Phones work at the White River Access (Verizon) near site.
